| Description: | Christensen Farms, one of the largest family-owned swine production companies in the United States, is currently seeking an experienced individual within the agricultural industry to fulfill the role of Nursery Service Manager. This position will be responsible for a territory in the Southern Minnesota region. Serving as a key player in our Nursery system, responsibilities will include the implementation of all processes and procedures at assigned sites, development and execution of action plans related to the care of the animals and provide training, direction and development to employees, producers, and independent contractors.

| Duties: | � Hold employees, producers, and independent contractors accountable to high standards of production and performance, including biosecurity, feed ordering, animal health, environmental conditions, administering medications, selection and sorting of animals, and loading processes.
� Routinely inspect facilities to validate performance and assess for maintenance needs.
� Ensure implementation of best practices related to animal welfare and safeguards for the environment.
� Provide initial training for all new employees and ensure implementation of ongoing training and development of current employees and staff.

| Qualifications: | � Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
� Associates or Bachelor�s degree in Animal Science or related degree preferred.
� Minimum 3 years leadership experience required.
� Must have a results-driven mentality, be self-motivated, and display a strong passion for the swine industry.
� High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
� Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with others through oral and written communication.
� Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, changing environment.
� Position requires regular travel within localized geographical region and occasional overnight travel.
