| Description: | Ensure all trucks and trailers are washed in a timely manner in accordance with all Bio-security procedures and guidelines. Involves working in wet conditions while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and climbing in and out of trailers repeatedly.
The position is full time and offers a 4-day work week, as schedule allows. There will be the opportunity for extra hours during the busy season. |
| Duties: | - Proper cleaning and disinfecting of livestock trailers
- Cleaning of pits and wash bays
- Washing of clothes and towels
- Communicate effectively with the Truck Wash Supervisor and other Wash and dry bay Staff
- Follow all wash Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform light duty maintenance as needed
- Inform Truck Wash Supervisor of equipment issues
- Suggest, plan, and implement Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in providing a safe work environment
- Provide feedback to Truck Wash Supervisor
- Assist Truck Wash Supervisor in ordering supplies to maintain appropriate inventory
- Care and maintenance of equipment

| Qualifications: | Position requires a minumum lifting ability of 50 lbs. Ideal candidates will be dependable, able to learn new tasks and follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Position requires strong attention to detail.
