| Description: | Seeking a results-oriented individual to assume the role of our Feed Ingredient Procurement Manager. The primary focus of this position is to oversee the commodity ingredient procurement of all our feed mill locations and to provide leadership to the corn procurement group. This position will work closely with plant and nutrition staff to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients that optimize best cost strategies and high quality production. Success in this role will be determined by knowledge of relative value of ingredients, supplier contracts and bids, and transportation logistics. |
| Duties: | � Management of demand projections, procurement, inventory, contract positions, and delivery logistics for ingredients
� Support brokerage activities and direction by establishing and maintaining desired market positions
� Attain and utilize spot, forward and futures price discovery for analysis, forecasting and forward procurement
� Develop tools and reports for decision making around products and commodity purchases
� Provide analysis of benchmarking and identify and implement improvements
� Point of contact for suppliers and external market consultants and resources
� Improve skills and associated results of current staff through training and coaching
� Support inventory management process
� Provide direction to toll mills around ingredient positions
� Leadership and support to others for non-commodity ingredient purchasing

| Qualifications: | � Must have 5+ years experience in ingredient purchasing and logistics in the feed industry
� High level of skill with Microsoft Excel is required
� Must possess strong negotiation and analytical skills
� Strong written and verbal communication skills
� Highly intelligent with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
� Results focused individual that thrives on organizational progress
� Ability to produce results in a fast paced environment
� Must have a bias toward action and be highly motivated
